Xiaoye Liu
I'm Xiaoye. I design things that feel human.
I grew up in Shenzhen — a city in permanent reinvention. I think that shaped how I work: I'm drawn to friction, to the gap between how something looks and how it actually feels to use. Every project I take on starts with the same question — what do people actually need?
Lately I've been at the edges. AR, spatial interfaces, installations that respond to touch and sound. That's where things get interesting — where a screen disappears and an experience begins.
When I'm not designing, I'm probably learning to fly a plane, sail a boat, on a film set or not fall off a skateboard — all ongoing projects.
